Social inclusion experiences and strategies to promote inclusion of immigrant women in Niagara

This is a three-phase project started in Fall 2019, a collaboration between Tools of Empowerment for Success (TOES) Niagara and Brock University, Social Justice Research Institute with Dr Joanne Crawford as the project lead. Phase 1 examines services and activities that support social inclusion by interviewing settlement and community service organizations leads. Phase 2 will gather experiences of social inclusion among immigrant women in the Niagara Region.  Phase 3 will synthesize the knowledge generated from phase 1 and 2 to identify what social inclusion strategies work for immigrant women and the development of or enhancement of existing services and activities to promote social inclusion.
