Kim Radersma

After teaching high school English for 15 years in the US, Kim moved to Canada with her partner and two young sons and began working on her PhD in Educational Studies. Rooted in her frustration with systemic racism in schools, the focus of her studies has been white teacher identity, privilege, and complicity. Apart from teaching at Brock University, she speaks to many teachers and administrators in Southern Ontario about her research, where she invites white teachers to understand the impact of their whiteness in a pluralistic society.
